Ive put this in here as there not actually for sale but i want a rough idea of what my collection would be worth if i was to sell. Im considering selling it to finance buying a cdj and using an inheritance am going to receive to finance the purchase of a second cdj.

Why you wanna do that? Especially if is older stuff you like gettin rid of your vinyl wont be a good thing. Shit quality vinyl rips and mp3's jus dont cut it.
Maybe is just me but cdjays seem a waste of time to me, there is programs like serato and that can have the best of both worlds i really couldnt feel dj'ing with cd's only would jus feel wrong.
Anno vinyl take up a lot of space and stuff but i couldnt handle losing mine, each to there own but i dont get it at all especially if you have a good loada oldschool, breakbeat hardcore, jungle and that.

you should be able to get a couple hundred easily
I've been contemplating buying a laptop so I can use something like serato myself (or maybe something I could do both audio & visual)...only need to get over my hatred of laptops =P
sure it's not as cool as showing up with a bunch of records but it's so much easier to carry stuff in. plus you can do cool table tricks with the white noise  =P

At the moment im not selling anything. Im just trying to think of something i can spend my inheritance on rather than let it drip away on bills and run of the mill stuff so i have something to remember my Nana from(not that i need something to remember her by obviously).
Last night i thought about getting a cdj, i havnt really got room for 3 decks in total without buying another desk or stand(begs the question, why have i got a 3 channel mixer?). So really it would mean going digital or laptop based with something like Alberton. Laptop mixing doesnt appeal at all. Cdj's im think pioneer 200's are the worst i would want to get, while hoping to get enough for 1000's.
Anyway back on topic. I was thinking after taking away the things i could sell easily and the odd bits and bobs people would want and the stuff thats worth a lot (KFA 2 etc), what would i be looking at for a bulk sale? £1 a release or is that too much?

You'd get £1 a record if you sold at the right time to the right buyer mate, you just need somebody nice like me to buy them from you!
Obviously, selling in smaller lots is more profitable but also very time consuming but if you can hold out for the money, i'd suggest going down that route.
The market is pretty poor at the minute and people just want you to give stuff away. Don't be rushed into selling for chuff all!

i would not part with a vinyl for £1 no matter how crap it was!

Nothing happening atm i will let you guys know what happens. Some people will probably get first dibs if I decide to sell but after that it will be through this site first.
atm im thinking
£200 ish for decks
£400-£500 ish for records
£300 I think for inheritance. So atm £1000 or so for cd's and cdj's and hours spent ripping records.
but im quite tempted by selling my HDTV which I also use for my monitor and getting a HD monitor that i can use as a tv instead so who knows.

I might be willing to sell some of them anyway so send me a pm if there is anything you want and ill let you know.

If there is anything you don't want and want to get rid of that is cheaper than a record on some vinyl site, I'll most likely take them =P
I am just starting off, so I don't know what artists/songs I like..so I've just been running through a bunch of sites and adding random records to my cart =P
