after hearing 'Lia - You are (Scott Brown and DJ Evil remix)' on di.fm just a second ago, im really loving japanese vocals over hardcore tunes now
anyone know any other lables/artists/songs which have this too?
i think the cute sounding jap vocals with a sweet hardcore tune sounds so nice :p
opinions/suggestions?

MPT:
http://www.discogs.com/label/MPT All the songs on this label use Japenese pop songs for the lyrics as far as I know. They were all in imorecords but in quite limited numbers I think. You might be able to pick them up second hand. Luna-C did 1 as well which uses samples from a Japanese show, just found it on discogs: http://www.discogs.com/release/192951 I haven't played my copy in a long time and I've got a vague memory of it being rather..... strange lol but I bought it so I must have liked it. Other people will probably know some more, but there's a start for you to check a few out

I have something like 30-50 Japanese Hardcore records (mostly compilations), that was the first one i bought (actually it's the track that got me listening JHardcore). It still is by far the best one i've heard.

Cherry = Ai Otsuka "Sakuranbo" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkN0GG2UNgY (video not related, most japanese record companys dont allow music videos on youtube). The video for that is super cheesy but i like it, shame its not on youtube anymore, I like many of Ai Otsuka's tunes, have two of her albums :) Cant remember Tear Drop, i have the vinyl, but not a turntable (my mother has it), so cant help you with that that one. Damn, i take that back, its also on the MPT's second CD, LOL. Cant say i know the original :(

Nice one, cheers!! SukUraNbo... I was close 'Tear Drop' is my favourite Japanese vocal (not that I've heard a lot) so I'd love to know where it comes from
