Yeah, a lot of it is pretty expensive.

I will say though, that everything that I have purchased through it has been EXACTLY as described. Unlike E bay where I have had a few probs.

Because you can put your tunes up for whatever you want, even if you think its ridiculoussome daft folk will pay it eventually if they dont no much about where to find tunes. With ebay your gambling cos only so many people who want it will see the auction, and rare classics can go for a couple of quid. Also with discogs is no time limit on your for sale items, so you can have your vinyl and keep using it until the right price comes along you'd get rid of it for.

It can be opposite of that though, some vinyl on discogs in euros including postage work out at a not bad price, and sometimes on ebay get bidding wars making tunes only a few years old and easy to get go sky high.

I've seen some stuff on discogs go for really cheap prices, but on e-bay go for stupid high prices. Thats the problem with the auction system, you tend to pay through the nose if you get caught up in the bidding war.

I always shop at sites that have a fixed price for the tracks I want, that way I know I'm paying the right amount of money for it. Shop around on discogs, you'll find some great stuff for really cheap prices.

If they sell, they are the right price.

dont no y im bothering to reply, but imo thats rarely true. especially if there is multiple numbers of the item selling. one rich idiot might by one and hence it sells but no person careful of their money will touch it. if there is only one copy of the item well... if its a must have then its a must hav, but otherwise yeh.

if it's too expensive for you, don't buy it

most of the stuff I've seen on discogs were priced I felt fairly decent...sure there may be some people who will overprice things, but if you look long enough on the internet you can find decent prices on most things.

Aye if you want the best rare tunes that lots of other people want your gonna either have to put in the hours searchin for it cheap or pay a good whack.

I've spent ridiculous money on a couple tracks i really wanted, but have also sold some tunes at mad prices as they hold there value in general and always people wanting them.

If you dont like it, dont ****in buy it mate.

Most of my sales go to Spanish people. Have only sold to one brit and a scotsman. I sell rare tunes so i want more to let them go. Id rather not sell it than let it go for £2 so I put them on for higher prices.
