yesterday i was at this radio class and this peer teacher asked me what else i listen to besides happy hardcore and i said trance and stuff then he said "why is it called happy hardcore?" and my mind was blank. i love this music so much yet i have no idea why its called happy hardcore! can sumone clear this up for me pls!

hmmm......cause it's happy and not angry....
...and it's about the power of love, life.....rainbows, harmony, peace...it's got color in
the sounds....and the vibes like....fill you up with this fuzzy feeling that your body kinda
translates into happy feelings.
And it's hardcore cause the beats are fast and rough and yet too sweet and kind to be
mean...like the heart......and together it's '*'*'*~happy hardcore~*'*'*'
My advice take a HHC song to that teacher and show him/her a good song...then ask
him/her how it feels listening to the tune...and that's why it's called HHC baby, YEAH!!!!!
I like the Bass to go BOOM!!!

just tell your teacher to f*ck the hell off i always do! It works to coz u get put into isolation n thy giv u kets n pies n let u listen to music and watch tele for the rest of the day to kee u outta trouble i even got a cuppa tea last time!

It's called happy hardcore cause some stupid fukking arsehole decided to call it that so that everybody gets looked at funny when they say they like happy hardcore and think they've got like a bundle of porn mags with people on prozac or something...
It frankly pisses me off that it's called that - it'll never get commercial with a name like that. Somebody I know got crapped on by a teacher for bringing a Happy 2B Hardcore CD into class, and got it confiscated.

it's called happy hardcore because it comes from dutch hardcore, which is really, really rather dark. It takes the beat and speed from that, and combines it with a happy aspect. Ta-dah happy hardcore :D
I've never had any porblems with the whole hardcore/hardcore pr0n :D

Happy hardcore really came from what we call today oldskool or 4beat and sometimes just hardcore (not happy hardcore).
