pioneers were the first cdjs that accurately emulated vinyl.
and yes they are the industry standard

It depends on what type of stuff you play tbh. Both limit you in different ways.

^^ probably ebay or something, its about £5 a record for new ones.
in all honesty you have to ask yourself, can you afford to keep buying new vinyl. because that's the mistake I made, and i'm currently selling a small collection and my decks because I can't keep up with new tunage.
Vinyl imo, does sound and feel better. but with CDJ's, you get a lot more tunage for your money - cheap mp3s, free unsigned tracks, vinyl rips people put up (i'm talking about old tunes btw, which arn't really seen as illegal on most forums. but it's still technically illegal.) all that lark. it's totally up to you and what you want to do, my recommendation is to go to a hardware shop and check out both.

I have CDJ-800 MK2's and I must say they are freeking awesome.
They are built solid, do everything that you ask of them nearly instantly (cue's etc) and yes they are the industry standard and imo the best cdj's.
I just ordered some stanton st150's so ill be interested to see how the vinyl goes down

Good choice!!! I have the STR8-150's, the Graphite coloured ones. They are immense decks!!! Although I prefer the feel of Technics in general, but that's personal preferance.
The Stanton's piss all over the 1210's spec and performance wise.. If it wasn't for CDJ's, the Stanton's would've been the new industry standard!
