Iv got a pair of 1210's m3d and i'm not happy with the speed they play at. I wanna make them faster so i can go reallllllllllly hardcore. Is there a way of modifying them does anyone know?
Thanks

Yeh, you can pitch them upto about +/- 16%

The more you pitch them up, the more you loose the accuracy though!

Ive got mine pitched upto around +/- 10% and ive not had any problems keeping the beats locked.

All you do it take the metal platter off, take the plastic cover off, look at the top right of the board and you will see a pot with pitch written nearby it, you get a screwdriver and turn this clockwise for 1/8th of a turn (this will give your appross +/- 10%) then you put the cover and platter back on and your in sorted!

If your not 100% confident ill have a look for a manual thats on the net somewhere

There's no need if you only mix hardcore... It really shouldn't be played faster than +8.

If anything it sounds less "hardcore" at a faster speed as it losses most of the power/drive from the kick & bass.

Depends mate quite a few tracks still sound good even on 45, if it's got a big enough kick in the first place it can still sound good i think.

Personally i prefer some hardstyle and old dutch hardcore like that and is good to work them into different sets.
