It was a really good dream. I was running to catch the school bus on the way home, and there was candy and blowpops everywhere. I was picking up as many as I could and stuffing them into my unicorn bookbag. Then I was walking on a rainbow with my friend and some DJ guy, and we were like... in an amazing place. I slipped and fell off the rainbow and was holding on by one arm, the other arm holding a care bear bookbag. Once I realized I was still wearing MY bookbag, I let go of the other one and my friend and the DJ hoisted me back up. We continued to walk, dancing and looking around.
I drew a picture of it.

The pastel-looking colors are actually neon. My scanner messed it up.

all happy children have the same colourful dreams and imaginations. ^_^
man you gotta love kids trying to fit into the
stereotypical kandi-kid raver image.

I would assume that he / she is wearing one of those head bands with the fuzzy cat ears on it that the tards tend to wear.

If you spend alot of time thinking about things such as rainbows, and carebear bookbags then these things are most likely going to resurface in your dreams as well. It could also result from too much cheesy hardcore. "Rainbow in the sky", "Rainbow to the stars" , "Taste the Rainbow"...these are recurring concepts. The picture is cute looks like anime.

Having spent quite a while on these forum's now and not knowing what a 'candy kid' was at first I have now come to the conclusion that they are typically american school kids (between 12 - 16) that are obsessed with being part of a stereotpye group eg. goth, jock, cheerleader, etc. If these are the sort of people that like hardcore over there im ****ing glad i dont live there!!!

exactly. and the funny thing is, she's never been to a rave..
her dream screams 'like my carebears back pack? see how wide my phatties are? omg don't you love this glitter!? i'm a raver okay!'
k. i admit i love kandi and i'm all for it. and yes i do wear em o_O but am a bit more reserved. yaaayyyy!

I think some people get too caught up in the fashion of rave, it's like a trend that lures certain people in.Those newbies can either become true ravers, or once the next trend comes along, hop onto that wave and become emo or whatever.
I used to be candykid, but it had deeper meaning than what is stereotyped. I was all about the music, every weekend I'd travel hundreds of miles with my raving crew to hear the happyhardcore.Nowadays I don't think I'd even consider myself to be a raver since I haven't even been to a show in nearly 5 years. I've changed so much since then, but what has remained is my love for the hardcore music.
