am i on the right track? any advice? so this is pretty average? worse than average? better than average? im still learning :)
Plus im using fl studio and ive heard cubase has a lot better sound quality... i dunno though.

So your o.k, maby looking about on Google and maby getting some info from websites. knowing how to master different kinds of music all ways comes in handy i find for the tricky bits on a song ect, FL7 doesn't have the best sound quality but to be honest it will do. not a problem for replying.

Cubase doesn't nessercerily have better sound quality, the actual truth is most people think it's okay to use the fruity fx plugins and synths, and that's where the quality jades.
Yours sounds quite good to me, percussion and bass combo are great. It's lacking slightly in places, mostly on the synths. Just keep learning and by the sounds of things you'll be very far up there indeed soon :)

thanks for the kind words mate. I actually dont use anything made by fruity except the sequencer and EQ haha thats it. I still think the master sounds shit though. Its at least uplifting to hear that someone doesnt think im shit :)
