Could someone help me as to which they reckon is the best PC program for producing HARDCORE / DRUM & BASS etc. Been fiddling for about a year now & wanna get a top notch program!!

Cubase is regarded as the standard, along with Logic and Nuendo. Others to consider are Reason, FL Studio, and Pro Tools (though thats probably a bit much for the home studio.)
Get some decent vst instruments and start banging out those tunes!

Fruity loops 7 is best for the beginner, then work your way up to cubase imo

i say well done.. its a good effort, and not bad at all for what it is.. the last track sound well oldskool rave.. reminds me of some early 91/92 stuff..

granted its no masterpeice, but hey.. thats what learning is all about :)

yea i recomend diving into cubase!... wont be long till you start understanding it all!

Yeah i would say that cubase is the best one to use but if your a begginner then fruity loops is the best option as its easy to use with a easy interface, iv bin producing 5 years and still havent made the move to cubase yet, i love FL too much haha

Start right in w/ cubase, there is so much more you can do with it than FL i've been told. i started in nuendo and i have yet to find something i wanted to to that i can't in it.
