Oh my god I am so nervous. After creating about 100 tracks I finally found out the magic of happy hardcore!
I always wondered why all happy hardcore tracks sounds so "full" even if they play just one or two melodies. I think I found the answer.
This is for all the bad tracks that you had to hear from me the last years. Today I feel ashame for my first tracks that I showed you some years ago, they were horrible! I listen to them and laugh at myself, but I am also proud what progress I did the last years.
I thank you for all the years for your great tips and that you didn't kick me out of the community because of my worse tracks
Okay, enough chit chat, here is the track. I am sorry I have to give it to you via Raphidshare cause my normal server is unavailable and will be transfered to a new one. But you don't need to register on rapidshare, just click "free" on the bottom right corner and wait till the download starts.
http://rapidshare.com/files/30855467/CorDharel-thepowerofhhc.mp3 I hope I will get some good feedback and that you enjoy the track Greetings Your crazy CorDharel from tiny Switzerland

Right, this still isn't happy...and it's still Cordharel.
But you're right, this is loads better than the other stuff you've put on here. The synth has too much echo and kind of floats around nowhere, but it does indeed sound better than other songs you've put up here.
Cool main riff, although I think it's still a little too complex...(the song in general). It needs to progress a bit better and a bit more energetically.
The energy is there, but it just doesn't build up right.
I wish I had more specific advice, but I think this is a huge improvement nontheless.

That "fullness" you hear in professional tracks is layering of different synths. Its not achieved by layering some arpreggiation under a melody. While ive known people to do this, i think your doing it for the wrong effect. I think your doing it to make your track sound better, when it would probably sound better without it.
Your right though you're DEFINATELY coming along with your understanding and production. It kinda seems to me only NOW your starting to take it seriously haha.
I actually thought it sounded pretty happy. I think it would sound better without the arpreggiation though.
just my 2 cents.

If you remember, ages ago, I said that often 'Less' is 'More'.
Try to control your urge to put lots of different notes into a riff and therefore keep it simpler.
The effect will be that the 'tune' becomes familiar and will be a 'lift' every time it repeats.
Having said that, this is your best track so far.
