Does anyone know what software it is that DJs use when they make an album to do the mixing?

If they use software most use Cubase or Nuendo to do the mix, you could also use Sony Acid.

There are a number of programs it just depends on which you prefer.
When i first started i was using Traktor but now i use CDJs (soon to be vinyl too).
I record off the decks with cubase.
I have used other programs for recording but nothing is as good as cubase imo.

^^That's a live mix though. He's talking about the majority of big compilations out there that don't even have live mixes, just with programs like Silver mentioned.
