Debate has turned into nonsense,it comes down to your ears at the end of the day when engineering not the the program you use.

If you were to rely soley on the Waves Bundle Fx while using FL the standard would be excellent, its the same with cubase.

Trust your ears not what you read!!!!

I was just asking because they use Pro Tools at the Art College I want to go to!

^^^ haha aww.

As was posted before the midi in Pro Tools isnt that good. Pro Tools is great for recording bands, actually perfect for recording on the whole, but for electronic music its not crash hot.

Whatever music course you do you will always learn Pro Tools, because it really is the industry standard, you need to know it if your going into the music industry because its so widely used :)

i think cubase is highly thought of, but i heard it's not compatible with vista, where as cakewalk 6 is..... is this true ??

Not too sure about this... however i do know that cubase runs faster on the PC then it does Mac! (something to do with the old engine inside cubase or something) - Can't remember where i read that now...
