I have used z3ta+ for a while now, but recently when ever i try and load a preset and play a note,
the noise im heading sounds asif the note is really below the threashold (ie, to low) and really clipping, to the point where; when it clips the noise really isnt pleasant!
I dont want to loose the z3ta settings i have preloaded (automaticaly load when i load a cubase file which uses the vst) , which work fine untill i try and do anything to them in z3ta
i hope this is understood :S
thanks

I dont really completely understand the question but if its sounding like its distorting and going over the threshold when it isnt, i would definately check the compression settings in the effects tab of z3ta. Too much compression can definately do that. Also it could be external, do you load presets into the mixer on that vst also? I would check absolutely EVERYHTING. If you still cant figure it out id resort to playing something with the vst and change eat setting one by one to see if anything helps. Also im pretty sure z3ta has a limiter as well, check the settings on that, also the settings on the EQ. Although im pretty sure its the compression.
Let us know how it works out so that if anyone else has the same problem, theyll know why.
