hahahaha love the haircuts in that picture Brian!!!

my first sh!tbox is a 1998 Holden Barina (Vauxhall Corsa for you Brits)... Still have it, transmissions about to let go, air-con motor is nearly dead... has two good tyres! and new front brakes (just the rear's barely work)...

The bloody thing turned me to bikes lol... First (and second) bike is one of these:

in reply to brians k pic about FWD, that is pure a grade rubbish. especially when towing something. While it might be true in some circumstances (such as when the car is stationary), it holds very little water in real life. when accelerating, much of the weight of the vehicle shifts off the front wheels to the back, usually more than balancing the weight of the vehicle evenly on back and front. also RWD has the differential at the rear of the car. When towing this staement is even less true, as the trailer is generally front heavy for saftey purposes. this extra weight at the front of the trailer transfers to the rear wheels of the car and takes weight off the front of the car. we found this out of holidays when we had a front wheel drive, parked on a sloped grass drivway, and subsequently couldnt get out the place as we couldnt get traction.

just thought i would clear up a few lies created in order to shift more sales

anyone who tows a boat with a mid size car is stupid, although I've seen people do it before...then they wonder why their car is ruined

Ah memories! *gets all nostalgic*

My first car was a 1987 1 litre Nissan Micra.

It was SHIT!

It was rusty, had a crap stereo, had a 5th gear (wooo!) which actually SLOWED the car down (assuming you could get it up to 5th gear as it was as fast as a slug breakdancing in treacle), crappy electrics etc. etc.

Mine was also crap. Used to get taken up loads of old dirt tracks and through muddy fields which didn't help. Saw me through though.

my first car was a 1984 honda civic.... it was pretty much in immaculate condition and had only done about 95,000 k's for a 20 yr old car at the time... so that was pretty good...

and yes youre right about the name thing lol.... his name was Ace, Ace Montgomery. By day Ace would drive around inconspicuously, but then by night we'd go on good old fashioned stake outs. if Ace were a person, by day he would be a member of a country club because he is suave and sophisticated, but by night he would turn into a spy and is into extreme sports like snowboarding. The name says it all really doesnt it....

ps, i was joking about the whole stake out thing... noone else ever wanted to go, said it would be too risque. Ace is no more tho.... not since the accident :(

I've never had a car. Some years ago used to drive with my mothers Volvo -82, but she sold it.
I use a green Kuwahara Fast Trax, doesnt need any gasoline and insurance and parking costs are 0€ :)

Brian K, removed image tags, some of us are still using a 1024x768 display :P

Mine was a Fiesta xr2, way back when....i think i passed my test in 1990, so it was a while back now. I thought that car was the bees knees. Wouldn't look at one twice now!
