do any labels distribute cheese to this day, like stompy 95-96 stuff? well the only one i knew of was fusion records, one of the releases of there (wild child / your right) had a definet cheese vibe, no trancecore modern stuff.
is this 'style dead?

Cheese is still being churned out. Dougal, Visa, Seduction, Gammer, Brisk, Ham, Sy, Unknown, and a few others still release some happy tracks, but as far as for using the elements heard in the 95/96 era, its not common. Also, ALOT of the produces from that time have left, I dont think even the Dutch/German put out HHC anymore, mainly Gabba from those areas.

haha, I just make the bracelets/necklaces and go to raves. I dont throw them, but maybe if I had some help, then an all-cheese Hardcore event would be nice, but we would have a cheese overload by 3:00am because one can only take so much cheese at one time. But ya, there is no such thing as "too chessey" :)

maybe alternations from old school cheddar to gabber. from the happy pumped up synthesizers and chirpy vocals, to an overdistorted kickdrum and a piercing hoover.

I sure hope so. God that stuff drives me nuts. (Just IMO, of course. No use arguing personal preference.)

there are reasons styles die out, sometimes things get so cheesy that scenes backlash against it

Listen to something else or listen to some older stuff. As I like less and less of the stuff thats being made, shockingly this happens more and more.

i find the newer stuff okay. i dont have too much of a problem with it. i just find it gay that cheddar isnt produced anymore really.
