On the same subject, has anyone heard Quiet Funky Systems Vol. 1?

I have it too, Loud & Quiet is the best track on it imo.

Its not exactly the style i listen the most, but my favourite track is I Miss U, as i like vocal tunes a lot :)
My favourite Japanese artists at the moment are テクネチウム, Kenta-v.ez, DJ Sharpnel, Tpa:pbr and T+pazolite. Ofcourse there many other good producers, but havent been able to buy new records for a long time :(

I've not heard anything of Sharpnel's stuff, heard loads about him though.

Hardrave radio should be playing all the CD's from Sharpnel Sound: http://www.hardrave.jp Sharpnel has made a lot of quality tunes, but also a lot of generic stuff too. Also the style varies a lot, so you might hear 10 tunes of him and still not know exactly what the music is really like.
