I need to get some speaker stands for a pair of Rokit 6's. Do I need to go for something specific? I assume I do to stop it messing with the sound...

Chars.

I'm not sure if it's me or no but the last bit of you're sentence didn't make F.A sense to me, anyways..

I advise you to see if Rokit does there own stands for those monitors, for maximum efficiency you should really go for padded top and pinned base stands so bass doesn't sink ect, look arround for well known brands.

Don't know what they are but it doesn't sound like what I'm after.

I need stands to lift them off the floor. Got them on the desk at the mo which is apparently a bad idea... As well as that they're fighting for space.

Ah I see......yeah not too sure about the benefits of them Mopad things, but saw them recommended on Ush by a few respectable producers.

Let us know how them stands go when youve found em.....somehow I get the feeling my monitors are situated correctly either.
