I'm not sure, i have a few ideas on a few tracks I've that jotted notes down, at the moment im just playing the C.Ds through the day to see what has the best features for a hardcore remix.

I'll P.M you my details for a collab whether it's R.A.T.M or not.

cheers, Pure

wake up
would a band like ratm be more suited to a gabber track? none of their tracks are exactly happy, and the heavier style would be more suited to it imo...

My suggestion: fat old school tune. Gabber seems a little too aggressive, and not funky enough for RATM.

I see, i agree as well, after hearing various tunes like 'Calm like a bomb' they have a certain era about their style after alot of playing about and sound cutting, filters ect I've come to the conclusion that it will take to many man hours i don't have to work on a track of that nature.

Sorry to disappoint.

didn't think you'd give up so easily....... why not try : system of a down - chop suey
if your looking for a hard edge that is..... it's so easy to cut it's not true,
i'm sure you've heard the whispering "wake up" sample used in a few tracks already....

just a thought

sad to hear, but they a bit to funky/woteva for hardcore yeh. have you thought about maybe some gunner's or iron maiden maybe?

would you be able to go maybe a bit dnb for ratm? but heavier bassline, etc might sound alrite...

Not a bad idea Lilley, afraid iron maiden wouldn't be to good nor gunner's, S.O.A.D seems to have the right areas of music for a hardcore remix, as you say it has the funky areas the melodic and the hard/gabber areas, See what happens.
