Concord's are o.k, if you like to have you're decks looking 'awesome' as for sound and scratch quality they filter cut so much of the sound that it's pointless (from a professional view), as for scratching tho sturdy they may bee if the platter isn't solid witch on a 1210 it has give it will jump off.
In my eyes you can't go wrong with Sure M447's, A lot of the professionals use them and never complain, sturdy with the finest pointed needles in the industry you can't go wrong, Pricey - yes, Durable - Yes, They also come with needle cover clips, to cover while transporting.
Also with the wire attachments you can't go wrong, it takes so little to accidentally snag them while transporting and end up having a bad set.

For donkeys years ive played with stanton 500s and i need to be honest and say that ive had no probs when scratching/spinbacks etc they last for ages and they cost little over a tenner to replace the needle. n yeah theyre a bit 'old skool' but they were industry standard for years
A mate of mine recently bought 1210s and he was supplied with 'stanton scratchmasters'
good but expensive

concords won't fit right on technics and can wind up screwing up your tone arm/cartridge connection

pick up a technic headshell and look at the end of it and look at the end of a concord
a flat end doesn't fit well into a rounded one...sure it may work fine now but you run the risk of crapping out the connections in the tone arm

it's ALL about the Shure Whitelabels
=> crazy skip resistance, amazing sound, sexy look and not too expensive (and stylii are cheap!)
check it out: http://shure.com/ProAudio/Products/DJPhonoCartridgesAndNeedles/us_pro_WHLB_content and: http://shure.com/ProAudio/Products/us_pro_djlibrary_deconstruc if you care more about durability and scratch get M44-7s, they won't sound as good as Whitelabels but they still sound better than Stantons are track super well Ortofons sound great but I can't stand mixing with them Stay away from Stanton at all costs, especially the trackmaster series.
