I don't think commercial Trance has a place in any rave :P In a commercial town club maybe.
Commercial Trance is exactly what producers in Hardcore try to emulate (but at Hardcore speed etc), and it sounds terrible :P
Real Trance is very good music, or it was, but commercial Trance; well it's exactly that, commercial :P

Eurodance and Eurotrance are awesome. Check out shoutcasts list, DI's Vocal Trance and Eurodance channels are both in top 20. Though if its a Hardcore event then, well, no. But if its a dance event, then yea.
I missed this years biggest Eurodance/trance event here, would have been great :(

That would be abit better, but it could never be done with any authenticity, there is very little producers you could do it.
That's not the point though, it's Hardcore, not Trance, no one should be emulating anything!
