I need a mixer for my small pa system. I can probable scrape together about £300 though if i dont have to spend that much ill be happy!
Things ill need it to do..
Balanced input and output
2+ Mic inputs, on seperate channel
Record output. This needs to pick up the Balanced input and the mic's, after they have been eq'd
I need to be able to hook up extra speakers aswell as the main output, say two sets of extra outputs
Thats all i think i need, if there is anything else that would be useful let me know cause ive never used a mixing desk before
Cheers

I would go for something from the 99 - 2006 range on pioneer because they've done some awesome stuff.

Yeah, we was sorted before.
Pioneer does do P.A mixers but there not very comercial, takes alot of digging to hustle one up, try googling 'Spirit, By soundcraft'

This is one from the range in question:
http://www.dv247.com/invt/8650/

Rugged for the road, high qualtiy sound for the studio, this Soundcraft Spirit M Series mixer is highly versatile
12 Low noise, low distortion and RF rejection mic preamps
Great British EQ, 3-band EQ (swept mid)
Ground tracking architecture minises noise and hum
100mm fader throw
Professional grade connections throughout
IMaster gain control on all aux busses
Switchable direct outputs
Intelligent rackmounting system
Direct outputs ( pre or post fade ) on all mono channels
Signal present and peak LEDs on all input channels
Mute and PFL on all input channels
Global 48V phantom power
4 Stereo inputs
4 auxiliary sends - 2 pre-fade, 2 post-fade
4 Stereo returns & return master for FX returns
S/PDIF Digital output
& I agree, they're decent mixers! Didn't realise Soundcraft were part of Pioneer.
£299.99 and they will match a lower price...
I've also seen an M8, don't know if there is more in the range... M8 would be the cheaper of the two.
