Living in Australia, beer has played a fairly large part of our culture, and as some of the add's say, there's nothing better then a big cold beer. Now i'm a burbon and coke man myself but i dont mind the odd schooner after a long day, and the odd schooner is usually filled with the supercold (~-2C). Now the word that i've heard go round says that you lads across the water in the mother country actually prefer the liquid hot. Now without dissin the taste, i believe the major factor that influenced beer to become hot was the crucifixion of jesus. So i am curious. How do you fella's from other lands prefer beer?

I'd have 5 bottles of Julpiler (similar to Stella Artois) and then sleep

everyone seems to drink 'VB' here (Victoria Bitter) and its awful.. tastes like baby sick blended with carbonated water, strained through a seave to get rid of those nasty solids in the vomit then poured into bottles, put into six packs (should be called 'sick packs..) then sold in the freezers @ your nearest Liquor store.

Lager Beer = Cold

Cold Stella or Carlsberg Export are my favourites.
Cider FTW though (without ice mind).

It's a myth, if a barmaid give me a warm pint she'd be getting it thrown back at her!

The warm beer is called 'real ale'... its a strange thing that only men who live in Norfolk and have long grey beards actually drink
I like my beer cold while sitting outside on a hot summers day... unfortunately where I live we're yet to have a hot summers day this year lol

True, I have an old mind and a young body.....Perfect!
I know it's a bit of a granddads drink but I'm just not overly keen on lager, never have been really. It seems people drink for the sake of "fitting in" or "to get drunk", however I find Bitters the only beers that do occasionally quench my thirst rather than just dehydrate me!
Don't get me wrong I will drink lager and enjoy it but not too much as it just makes me bloated and gassy amongst other things!
