Just thought id complain about something.
im starting to get a bit fed up with lisa abbott being on alomost every tune around at the minute.
fair play, she has a lot of talent but why dont producers try and vary the vocalists a bit more?
at the moment there seems to be only a handfull?
there! iv said it!

Because shes good, and has a fast turn around and is relatively the same price as all the others.
Theres only a handful coz only a handful are good enough and WANT to make it a profession to be a hardcore singer.
She's a fantastic singer. I dont really see a need to complain imho.

its not that producers are being narrow-minded.
Its that there actually arent that many to pick from.

******** mate, ********.
Lisa Marie, Jenna, Lou Lou, Lisa Abbott, Donna Grassie, Cat Knight (although she is extortionate), Posion Rain, Jennifer Bolton, Alison Wade, Kelly C, Vicky Fee the list goes on.....
i am getting sick of her voice to.
Donna Grassie and Cat Knight are probably the best about imo.

I love the high pitch of Lisa Abbott's voice. I could care less to hear more male vocals. I love Lisa A. Her voice just seems to flow with a lot of melodies. You also got to realize that a lot of singers dont like for thier talent to be recorded and then looped and chopped up, vocodered, pitched up, etc. But its electronic music, and I LOVE to hear stuff done to the vocals, some tracks are just too dry, I love to hear chipmunk vocals, robot vocals, vocoded vocals, looped, that effect where it sounds like a certain part of the word is skipping....ya know? A lot of tracks are just to plain....

Jenna will always be my favourite.
Followed by Donna Grassie. Both amazing.
Lisa A is a bit hit and miss imo, some tracks shes amazing some are shit. Depends on the lyrics.
What about that Lexii bird who did loads of Impacts stuff like Morning Sun, Sunrise, etc. Also Looking down, shes up there tbh.

Lisa Abbott's voice has been doing my head in for a while now, I think she brings a track down to be honest, some of her singing makes me cringe. She sung some great track but the majority are mediocre shite.

I put a few ad's out on many music websites advertising for a new vocalist to do a potentially big vocal track that myself and orbit1 are going to record in the next few months and I had almost no one contact me, the one's that did havent sent the demo's like they said they would, Pissed me right off! we are offering the chance to do some vocal work but no-one seem's arsed! We have decided to use lisa (she was who I was going to use in the first place) as she's exactly what we're after in a vocalist, I think she's excelent and look forward to working with her in the next few months!
Watch this space for the track, it's gonna be a biggy!

^^ Has Amy stopped singing (Acolyte used to use her)? Lisa is a very good choice, but was just wondering, cause havent heard of Amy apart from the few(?) Acolyte tracks... Really liked her voice.
Anyway to the ones saying Lisa A. is getting boring -> crap. Vocals cant save an otherwise boring uncreative tune, no matter how good singer.
Also since were talking about singers, would add Lucy to the awesome list (featured on e.g. Bang! "Lost in Space")
