I've been really busy producing oldskool happy hardcore tracks and i'm wondering if there's any big Japan label active that is still releasing cd albums/vinyls? Is there maybe anyone here who can point me into the right direction?:D

Why it has to be Japanese? Also there are loads of Japanese labels, but none of them are really that big. Anyway e.g. Dynasty Records, Sharpnel Sound, Raverz Project! Productions, Rush Records, Rave N' Beats Japan etc are still releasing HHC AFAIK.

Thanks for the reply! :) Well i guess there's sadly no market for oldskool dutch sounding songs (with raps etc.) That's why i thought Japan would be the best way to go since the UK is newstyle only and in The Netherlands for instance its all about jump style.

The problem in Japan is that most people dont speak english, so it'll gonna be hard to contact a label unless you speak Japanese.
Anyway if your track is good, labels in UK will release it, RFU Recordingz released Contraption's tunes, and thats HHC too.

Hehe sadly i dont speak any Japanese so yeah that would a problem :) It's ofcourse hard to say of your own tracks that they're good but i think they have high potential. I have listened to Contraption - Higher, is that the song you mentioned? It's more like speed-up trance than happy hardcore ?:D

Chwhynny is a dutch "happy" hardcore producer, signed to RFU.

I'd class RFU as a "hardcore" label coz we're very much cross spectrum, but I lean towards "happy" hardcore personally.

Can't say i'm very impressed with the Contraption song but i guess thats a matter of taste :) RFU is in my opinion not really an option, ill keep on looking :D
