all 3 are shit names too, UK hardcore could be any style of hardcore from the UK, upfront is silly too, any style of hardcore can be upfront, and Nu, is very silly because in 10 years time that name will just look stupid.

Nu Hardcore? Do you mean Nu Skool? In which case, the difference:
- UK Hardcore is just general hardcore from the UK
- Upfront hardcore is faster and bigger stomp and beats (I think, feel free to correct me)
- Nu Skool is similar to old skool but with a more hardcore beat
Do you ever stop whinging? Your life must really suck

uk hardcore
this is the broad term, referring to any hardcore produced in the uk style (also i'd include australian and us producers in this, as it's more the style rather than their physical location). this is just to differentiate from the dutch hardcore distorted kick sound.

upfront hardcore
refers to anything new - such as tunes released in the past year or two, or unreleased forthcoming tunes, etc

nu hardcore
never heard anyone say this, and it sounds retarded imo :p lots of new dutch hardcore is called nu skool, "nu" being a relative term, as the sound has been around for a decade now...

UK Hardcore is Hardcore proudced in the UK or other countires have similar sounding Hardcore as well, Upfront Hardcore means the latest style of Hardcore and the latest relases, Raverbaby, Quash and Essential Platinum are examples of labels that put out the latest style and it is not uncommon for flyers for raves saying 'Upfront Hardcore' as people would know the type of Hardcore played Nu Hardcore isnt a term I have heard much but could mean the same as Upfront as it is new or the latest sounding
Freeform is also Hardcore but most people know it as Freeform only although the term UK Freeform would mean Freeform in the UK and Upfront Freeform would be the latest style of Freeform although Freeform has a number of varying styles and dosnt follow the same rule structure that Upfront Hardcore follows like sounding 'fresh' and forward thinking
