The first party I went to I was dancing and there was a guy standing right next to me with a whistls in his mouth tooting away. The part that anoyed me was he wasn't tooting in any paticular rythum. I walked over to him, motioned for his ear and yelled "If you don't stop tooting I'm going to shove that thing down your throat". Now that i think about it, I was really rude to him for saying that. But like I said it was my first party I didn't exactly have the jist of the scene. Maybe if I didn't have a bad first impression with whistles I'd like them a bit more.

I think its because when the people starting in the scene who were kandy kids got more jaded and stopped having as much fun found them annoying and put down people who have em and then the person with the whistle feels bad and stops bringing them. (personal expericence) But lately I started bringing my whistle back and the last party I went to I found someone eles with a whistle and we played whistle games all night. I agree sometimes we're annoying with them but I feel that they make me more excited when I hear em because that means people are having fun. It gets the vibe pumped up! :)
