You are correct. Not sure what Hellfury meant lol. Timestretching is taking a song and making it longer to decrease the tempo without changing the pitch. Time compressing is doing the reverse.

Timestretching is making a tune longer - which was used on a compilation for example - with same pitch, so DJs are able to use it in their mixes. I have a decent version of that tune, just timestreched, made in audacity, by just repeating 32beat section a couple of times, to build an 'intro'
Specially this tune is easy to edit, thats what i meant.

Time stretching was explained a few posts up. It is not what you just described. Unless you are using your own definition. Although technically the song will be longer because it is slower once time stretched.
