Its still in the 'rough draft' department.

The mixdown isnt great and the master quite frankly sucks a bit of donkey dick and theres LOADS of fx and filtering that still needs to be done. But comment on anything and everythng.

Brilliant breakdown. This is what I've been waiting for from you. The riff is amazing.

Bass is a bit donky, but I like it. :P

hahaha that'll take a while unfortunately mate. The finished production should be tomorrow-ish and ill just edit the first post for a new link so watch out for it. Ill make it noticeable.

As for the FINISHED track, maybe be a while. I either need to wait for kelly C to get set up, or go about finding another vocalist somewhere.... Atm the only other id consider is DMO and shes ****ing flat out atm...

Wow... is this your idea of a rough draft? Wow... It's amazing dude! It needs vocals, true, or shorter lead-sequences, but other than that - GREAT work!

Yeah its written for vocals. Thats why after the first 16 bars of the peak; the synth with the longer ntoes come back in - intended for the chorus ;)

Its sounding promising. Makes me really wish i had a regular vocalist :(

Hmm, not really digging the bass.
Didn't give enough time in the intro to mix.
Nice piano. Suggestion though, after the first few bars of it doing that, instead of breaking down to the pads, have the piano do the octave jumping thing you hear in a lot of old records (more explanation if you'd like).
Pad sounds sampled. Add some heavy delay/reverb to fix that.
Definitely needs more in the buildup department when it bursts into that 4beat for no apparent reason.
Nice buildup after that though.
You are right about the need for a fair bit of FX and filtering. Some filtersweeps on the lead would really come in handy.
More changeup in the lead is required. Something of a bridge would really help, and give a bit of a letup from the assault of happy you've got going.
(and I suppose it goes without saying that I don't like the lead or the style

)

Still, pretty good, especially for a rough version.
