i REALLLY need help with this, im trying to get the synth playing in the backround when the breakdown hits in Druid & Sharkey - Rocket To The Moon ... can it be made with z3ta, vanguard, albino, im sure it can, i just need step by step help lol!

im pretty sure its just triangle waves mate i dont think theres anything REALLY hectic to it, although it probably is layered as ****....

I'll be honest mate... when it comes to synths i normally stick to my own... or just experiment...
I tend to just stick to what i know works well.
So my knowledge in synths - isn't too good...
I normally only wanna create a "styles" of music [electro, psy, hard ect...] rather then a "sound" ...and then i just go from there... creating my own element of it...
But all of the above i would agree with - its defo along the lines of sine & triangle way...
Although its very hard to tell apart the pad from that gloomy synth line over the top - probs something to do with the bit rate of the clip... but my only clue is - "semi tones!!" --- use them !!!!
My advice would be: experiment with sine waves [there not as boring as they seam :P  ]
And do some layering with mono signals [to free it from getting dogged down by the rest of the mix]
Try and make something simple - and similar - but not the same... then where you go from there... is completely up to you :P - let your imagination go f*cking WILD!
Experimentation can be very... VERY fun!

Synth in the background of the break ? If im not mistaken thats just strings. Its just a tweaked orchestral synth. Can be copied if ya use something like Halion.

Sorry i couldnt help you with that mate im completely USELESS at duplicating sounds.
If you ever want help with mixdowns or something however...
