m$ is making a huge ordeal of halo 3
there's a halo 3 nascar car, mountain dew has a new 'gamer juice' w/ halo 3 images on it, there are going to be celeberties at some of the cities for midnight releases...
not sure what you mean by keep up, it's easily the most anticipated game this year

yeh what do you mean keep up? Halo2 was pretty damn good. the only problem i had with it was u couldnt fire the main guns of the banshee on bloodgulch - if u could fire them, i never learnt how.

Halo was good, Halo2 was
a) not a patch on the 1st one
b) Rubbish for multiplayer online
c) a complete nightmare to install on vista, which resulted in a corrupt vista and a resinstall, I managed to get a warning from microsoft for abusive behaviour when I rang the helpline. AND they were going to charge me for helping me, I think thats what set me off.
I took the game back, got my money back, and swore NEVER to buy any games from MS again.
I bought BF2142 with the money instead, was worth it.
Im waiting on Crysis and COD4. nothing else seems worth spending money on.

that's obviously just your opinion, and bf2142 is a pretty crap game imo. they took out pretty much all the good mechanics of a shooter.

They are the opinions of most people who played Halo 2. So why would Halo 3 be any different.
BF2142 was more playable than BF2 so where ya get that from I dunno.

Damn I forgot to mention, for ppl with PC's to play HALO2 you needed vista, now all those people who loved HALO 1 would love to get HALO2 thinking it was gonna be better.
Every single review for HALO2 on PC said the same thing, complete and utter disappointment. Now its those who bought vista just to play it, I feel sorry for, as it wasnt even DX10. Im not talking about console here, I know next to nothing about them, im talking PC. Ive 100's of ppl on my xfire, and strangely enough they all said the same thing, look at any webpage reviewing it, same reviews, all bad.
Its just M$ screwing the little guy as usual, but then I expect nothing less from that company.

Took people years to work out if the world was flat or not, took people 10 minutes to start flaming Halo2.
Anyways, im not saying HALO 3 will be crap, im just saying M$'s track record speaks for itself.

i've seen 3 reviews of halo 3 so far. one gave it a 10/10, the other a 9.5, and the third a 9.6. you've obviously got some passionate hatred for microsoft, so your opinions are obviously a bit biased, and you're being incredibly irrational. there's a reason halo 3 has immensely large numbers of preorders and is getting incredibly high reviews, and i'm fairly certain the reason isn't because it sucks.

Web-Sites and mags? That are funded by advertising from game companies, hardly unbiased.

if you're curious though, they were from gamespot, 1up.com, and the 3rd was a fan rating compilied from fan votes, don't remember which site

It will be the biggest 360 release to date and MS hope the first compelling product for the 360. With the Autumn release they're hoping Halo 3 will make the 360 the console of choice the Christmas.
The thing about review sites is that they are dependent on advertising revenue to keep running. It hardly makes them the fair reviews people thing they are.

Im talking about HALO 2 , or am I not speaking your language ? Check any website, any magazine, HALO 2 WAS A FLOP. I dont like Microsofts bullying tactics no, I think its disgusting the way they force their new products onto people. How many of you here use XP ? And are aware that in the near future, you wont get a bit of support from MS for it.
But thats besides the point, unless MS revamp the game, improve the graphics, and basically dont copy HALO and HALO 2 , HALO 3 may well be a good game. They said HALO2 was going be totally different, yet it wasnt. It was just the same game diff storyline in other words same shit different day.
And lets face it there are people out there who'll buy it just to complete the triolgy.

well the 360 is half the price of ps3 so i dont think they have to much to worry about
