Yes, Bonkers 1, 2, & 3 are incredible cds, but so are Hardcore 2007(vol.1), Hardcore Heaven vol.3, Bonkers 13, etc. It just depends on what you like. Its ok to collect old skool cds, but the bad thing is, they are hard to find. All the new kids are kinda late on being able to order new copies of old skool cds. So its just better & easier to start collecting whats out now. True Hardcore looks like a good album coming out, and Hardcore Underground 2 has been highly anticipated!

Bonkers 13 (old skool c.d, freeform c.d, bit of gabber on disc 3, and a uk hardcore disc)
Hardcore euphoria (got a bit of everyfin and is maybe a bit more mainstream)

Why cant we all live in the past ? If you havent noticed, most new stuff are a bunch of remixes of the 90's stuff in the nu style.
The 90's were and always will be the golden era of hardcore, but you'll never get those days back, you'd be better off trying to make a new feeling with the new music.
For a cracking CD i'd look at something from the DJ's take control series.
The two I own are Slipmatt takes control and Dougal takes control.
Both wicked CD's, but Slipmatts is pure perfection.
Its Catalogued under Kickin Records, KICK CD29

Yes, I have noticed that the old sound has come back into Hardcore, I just meant that you cant only listen to the same old tracks. I love the old skool sound being mixed with the new stuff. "I Can Feel It" by Nu-Foundation being a great example.
I actually just got me a new copy of "Happy2bHardcore Ch.2" in the mail today, and I appreciate those classic tracks more than I did when I bought the cd for the 1st time (it got beat up!).

Hardcore Adrenaline 1 & 2 are both good cds. Lots of upfront tracks.
