Trust me on this. Save up & get yourself a decent pair of Technics SL1210s. I used to have shitty belt drive decks when i was about 12 or so. I saved up about a grand & bought 1210s. Best thing i ever did. My mixing improved within a few weeks. 11 years later & i'm still using the same decks & had no problems what so ever. If you look on ebay you can find a decent pair for around the £300 mark.
Just downloaded & to be completely honest with you it's a bit on the awful side. Like i said get some decent decks & the most important thing to do is practice every spare minute you get & you will soon find that you can match dem beats up no worries.

I know from experience. I used to go insane with belt drive decks. You can tell when they are used because the mix starts off in time then drifts out. This is due to the fact that the belt stretches. One trick i used to use was to take the platter off & cover the belt in Talcum powder & put it back on again. As for Gemini decks i wouldn't waste your money cos personally i think they are shite. Spend that little more & get 1210s & you will never look back.
