As some of you may or may not have read already im starting up a production website. Its not going to be competition for happyhardcore.com or anything in fact im going to be endorsing happyhardcore.com on my site.. coz lets face it, this place is my second home. The site is going to have a complete guide to fl studio, where even someone whos never used a sequencer before can come and look at the beginner's tutorial which is written in BASIC english and explains terminology as its introduced and leave knowing their way around like the back of their hand. Cubase, Reason and perhaps ableton live and logic will follow shortly after.
Anyway, Im buying the domain sometime next week. Some people commented why not put it on hhc.com or hardcoreproducer.com or whatever....
Im gonna go with my own website as im gonna need a shit load of bandwidth to upload pictures, sound clips of what stuff sounds like (eg before and after compression) as well as videos and the actual tutorials.
The sites gonna have production forums for trance, hardcore and hard dance where you can request tutorials or ask for advice that isnt covered in the tutorials. ALso going to be able to upload clips of music for feedback and what not. Also im gonna put up reviews of CDs and sample packs and what not and im gonna make a massivr database of connections to digital labels, vinyl labels, studios, mastering services and places where you can buy good equipment, along with reviews of equipment once a request has been made, it will then be catalogued.
Ive got a team of 35 people setting up and running the site including moderators, admin, marketing and programmers and writers. If you wish to be a part of the team or submit some content for tutorials im currently looking for a couple of people to help with cubase, reason, ableton live and logic my email is [email protected]. Also contact me if you want to write articles or reviews or if you want to help with programming or even the design of the site.
Ive discussed this with silver and you wont even have to periodically check the website. As new articles and reviews come up, they will be in the news section of hhc.com and the teasers for each said report will be under the "articles" section in news in the banner above as well as the link to said article.
I decided to do this guys because clearly some people arent happy with some of the music thats getting released at present. If learning to produce doesnt seem like such a daunting task any more then more producers will spring up and more producers = more ideas = more hardcore. :) The last thing i want is this scene which i love and live for to die again or to split. I strongly believe more producers will counteract this effect.
Please guys if you think you can contribute something informative then dont hesitate to contact me. The more people involved the quicker the site gets up and the quicker more information becomes available.
Leave feedback here of what you think of the idea.
Cheers guys.

good luck with it. just make sure you dont put any paid products up for download, you'll get nabbed by the RIA quicker than you can say bassline.
My advice, always link to the sites.

Very willing to help. I'd offer to make an Acid tutorial, but I'm only working with 5, and I wouldn't want to be putting up outdated info.
Good with CD reviews though (or reviews of anything, for that matter.)

This is a great idea.
I would love to be able to help, but unfortunately I have no experience with production.
Good luck though.
