I'm very strongly considering selling one of my 1210's to get a pair of cd decks. I'm still gonna keep one and im gonna put put all my vinyl onto CD. I've been told by my friends not to do it because i'll regret it so I was wondering what everyone on here thought I should do?

i got some pioneer cdj 800's recently but never want to sell my decks.
your still gonna have your vinyl lying around & might get the urge to spin it now & again.
if your gonna keep 1 deck, you might as well keep both & have a really cool dj set up

If you need the cash from the sale of the turntable then i say go for it, otherwise just save up a bit extra cash and keep both decks. You could regret selling your vinyl collection, but not one deck! If you were that gutted later on you could buy another second hand 1210 in good nick for 150 - 200 quid so its not the end of the world

I'd just save the dough and buy some cd decks. depending on where you live, they can be actually good priced for what your needs are.

I would strongly advise you to try before you buy, IMO there the worst top end cdj's on the market and going from all the other reviews i have saw i am not the only on ethat think technics should stick to making TT's.
If i was looking for cdj's without a doubt it would have to be pioneers preferabably the cdj1000 but the cdj800 are excellent also, i cant really comment on the denons as i have had very little use on them!
Pioneer cdj's are the industry standard for a reason...........................
