Just ordered a stack of records.
Didn't know there was a postal strike.
I live in Seattle Washington USA
Will I ever receive my order?

depends on what shipping you got.
I usually get my records in about 2 weeks with general mail

well, it was the lesser expensive mode of choice at the site that nuenergy.co.uk became. It was like 14 pounds, but it said that it would be in 3-5 days via royal air mail.
But I assume that 3-5 days is within the United Kingdom.
I could be wrong though, I've never ordered with the new site.

You will get them.....eventually.
Another strike is planned for next week and then a series of strikes after that if the Unions don't come to an agreement over pay and overtime. Such a sad thing to see the Royal Mail in a state like this.
Anyway keep checking http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7037052.stm for updates. Mail is being delivered at the moment, but I can imagine there is a massive back-log.

I used to work for Royal Mail 7 years ago. Although your order will be delayed you will eventually recieve it. Pain in the arse these strikes. I used to hate going back to work after one cos of all the amount of mail thats built up, then makes the job so much harder.

The strikes are a pain, I've been expecting some work packages over since wednesday last week! Really not helping me at work! Spoox, I can well imagine what a hassle it would be returning to that after a strike! I couldn't do that, I think it would kill me.
I'm expecting the post in early next week when it should've taken 2 days so i'd give it a good couple of weeks at the mo coz as Simon says (hehe ) there will be more strikes next week and (i heard) a further 8 to be expected, maybe more.
Ultra crap.

Don't get me wrong cos it's a nice job to get into & the money is pretty good. At the end of the day your only posting letters through letterboxes & the walking everyday keeps you fit. It's just certain things like these strikes that make it a pain. If you do get the job Meathead, you wanna do as much overtime as possible. You can really boost your money up this way.

I might have some sympathy for Royal Mail over the strikes if they didn't do such a shit job to begin with. In the last 2 months before the strike they lost 2 parcels of mine and took over 2 weeks to deliver a fair few letters. Which was handy considering they were from the hospital telling me what dates and times my appointments to see orthopeadist where and as they were so late I missed them.
You don't deserve a raise for being so shit in the first place, least not round here.

Yeah but is it a main channel? I meant like you aren't going to have English news as part of you r main news, so it's only accessable for people with what you mentioned :P
