There's Scu Bar (Not Scu2bar) Between Footage and the Aquatics center that hire out what is essentially their basement :)
It's not huge but has weirdly good acoustics for hardcore and DnB and for what you're after it's probably the best you can come across.
I think it's about £150 for the night, but might be less, and that gets you their bouncers too.
