hey all!
Here is my brandnew track! It includes happy melodies, a little bit of a goa-like quiet part and me doing some strange chipmunk vocals
http://cordharel.bachi.net/sound/CorDharel-MissYou.mp3 The track has been mastered by Ruffage from pureforus.ca Enjoy! I hope you like it I am pleased to hear your feedback! Greetings from Switzerland CorDharel

It's alright. Still seems to be a bit drifty musically. It's hard to groove to or really follow. I guess that's just a structure issue.

and Leto is right, it's far to 'drifty' musically.
A big backward step compared to the last one.

ok im listening..
maybe change the bass, i dont really like siney synth basses, maybe thats just pref.. should make a gritty saw/square bass :F. Piano could use some work such as some chording etc etc.. I actually liked the breakdown.. Loved your voice, good to hear it at exact pitch :P ^^ Synth could prob using some beefing up, such as maybe layering another or maybe adding another saw prolly.. but im really suggesing to change the bass, the lead also sounded a bit "random".. but please dont take this as offensive or anything, this is an absolutely great tune - im just giving some advice which is probably just preference.. Keep it Up!

What does that mean "too drifty"?
And novaboy, I never take it as offense, I ask for feedback to learn something for my prodction skill.

lol thats good to hear. I think it will be the last time I will sing by myself. Next time I will make deep voices again. I think I will look for a better (FEMALE! ) singer once I got better and reached the quality I dream of (like in the Crush On Hardcore tracks)
I'll see what I can do with the bass in my next track.
I also want to talk about another theme where this track is a good example and I need some advice. I call it the "emptyness of my track". For me it's a good track, happy melody and stuff, but I miss something really important that I love in happy hardcore: The overall party feeling!
I hope you understand what I try to explain. If you listen to the Crush on Hardcore (for example) you always feel like there is a big party going on and alot of things are always playing at the same time. that's what I want to do, too.
In "Miss you" most of the time there are some snares, the kick, drums and stuff and the bass and the main synth, and sometimes the second synth. But you never feel the party in the track.
Do you have an advice for me to reach this goal?
I started to analyze the "pro" tracks very carefully but it's hard to hear how it's done so I would be very happy to get some information about that.
Greetings Cor

He probably means that it drifts too far from what hardcore should be, maybe too many influences or some 'unique' things too many in it.. thats what i think but it may not be that..
Not really sure what you mean, but alot of it is the synth, and how uplifting it is, for eg, how the bass works with the synth, and there is also trying to make the synth and every sound the best they can sound, eqing, compression, even altering the sound it self.
Have a Good day.

^^Not really what I mean at all. :D
What I mean is that drifty quality is directly related to the emptyness you are talking about Cor.
If a song doesn't have a set structure (not necessarily conforming to hardcore standards or anything) it's hard for the listener to feel like, as you said, they are at a party. It's also just a choice of riff, this one just doesn't hold your attention for longer than five seconds partly because the structure of the track isn't definite enough to inspire all the fun, party feelings in the listener.
Hope that helps. ;) Your last track was way better, and this new one is reminding me of the old CorDharel songs which had so much potential, but were lacking somewhere.
