on my new comp. Will a 700W PSU still be enough? I'm sure it will but just want to be double, extra sure!

The full spec would be:-

3.ghz core2duo,
4GB DDR2 800mhz RAM,
8800gts 640mb,
320GB HD.

Don't want to make the amendments and then find out there's not enough power heh.

Yes I am running 64bit Vista :S. Gonna get a cracked version of XP too if I have problems.

Sorry for all these questions, want to make sure it's right and you guys seems to know more than me :P

Price of ram is apparently going to increase soon anyway, according to a buyer from an Internet store who's forum I use. So might be a wise time to buy

WKD. Well, I'm paying an extra £50 to upgrade to a 64bit OS and get an extra 2GB of RAM which seems more than fare to me.

DDR3 RAM has just come out and all the DDR2 RAM prices are plummeting even though atm there's barely a performance difference.

4GB will see you meeting recommended system specs for next 5 years at least. I just about meet recommended system specs for all the generation of games out atm (Crysis, UT3, CoD4 etc). If you know how to mod the ini's of games you can triple your FPS without barely any affect upon the graphics.

How your mate said prices are going up for RAM is beyond me clarke bud. Nothing ever goes up in prices for PC as they're developing so fast with cheaper methods to produce the stuff and upgrades pushing down prices all the time.

700W PSU will be fine as long as it's of decent quality.

That was were I got the info from. That was tail end of last week. It seems very unusual which was why I mentioned it

Mhmm, probably regarding DDR3 RAM. All the DDR2 RAM I see about is cheap as shit.
