just thought id start a new topic and ask the questions....
what was the last live dj set u played and how did it go?
when and were are u playin next?
me, im a bedroom dj, and wont graduate to the club until after i buy sum 1210s at xmas, but i live in a studenty town wiv lots of clubs so im sure id be able to hav a hardcore nite nxt year

last time I played was Saturday
it was b2b with a jungle DJ so it was a bit interesting
the turntables were skipping because of the sheer number of people there but I'm used to that by now and found ways to work with it (cranked the weights, held the decks down during most of the mixing and ended playing a few tunes off CDs)
The jungle DJ had trouble dealing with the skipping though...but he's not as experienced as I am so it's understandable
Everytime I play out I have a good time!
...and I play out almost weekly during the summer so I guess I have alot of good times :D
My next booking is in 3 weeks...I slow down on the DJ/rave thing during the school year :)
I'm booked to play makina on 3 decks so that should be fun :D

Played on Sat too, at a free party in a warehouse down my way. Seemed to go down well, was playin' some breaks.
Next set that I know of ATM is at a small local club on 17th Nov.

Gosh, haven't played live in a while. :( Studies take up so much time. o_O
My last live set was in June, and it was to a crowd of Harry and the Potters fans.
I played essentially an improv mix of Electro House, Hardcore Breaks and Hardcore. They seemed to like it surprisingly. :P
Anyway, dunno when my next live show is, I guess I've got to try and get some bookings here in Chicago. :\
