It's really rough. Just got on the producing side of hardcore. I just wanted to put an outline of what I'm working with. I'm learning as i go so please don't kill me with neg feedback :)

I'm limited on samples at the moment, but I'm collecting. Only some minor tweaking in it so far. Simple delay some small warping. Using Ableton live 6. Just got it :)
I know the track is missing a buildup. Again bleh. Words of wisdom?
HTID.

Reviewing as I'm listening:

Bass is a little simple
Nice distorted 303. How'd you get that?
Drum sounds aren't the best. They sound a bit more intended for hardcore than drum n bass breaks, which isn't what you want.
Opening structure was a tad odd. Not enough going on, and when it seems to want to burst into more activity, it doesn't. It's an interesting tactic if you want to make really tense, weird neuro, but I don't think that's what you're going for.
Vocals are out of key.
Crashes are pretty weak. Sound like standard 909 samples.
Not enough progression. Generally just sticks to one bassline, an occasionally appearing 303, and the vocals, which isn't enough to make the song interesting. A good lead/riff, some countermelody, and a bridge are all good elements to throw in.

Still, for your first song, you're doing really well. If you need any help with samples, I can share a lot of mine. I also have some good kickdrums in case you feel like doing 4beat stuff.

I knew I could count on you for some good feedback. Thank you for putting a label on some of the terms I didn't know. It's nice to start to organize all this info. I have a sample pack and other random stuff. If you liked those 303s I'll def hook you up with whatever I have. And vice versa. Initially I do want to do more 4beat. I figured the song was out of key, it just seems kinda bland. Just an accapella. I think I'm just going to scrap this project however. Start with something 4beat.

Thanks.

The acid sounds identical to some that Breeze & Styles used, i'm going to assume it's from their sample CD or something? :P
As for the drums they don't sound remotely suited to Hardcore to me and would hope i'd never hear them used that way. Spot on for DnB :P
