Totally gutted !

Working away from my home town of Leeds, in sunny Sutton In Ashfield / Mansfield, I tried at lunch time to get hold of the long awaited Bonkers 17 :

Tesco's didn't have it on the shelves, and after speaking to staff, they said it would be on the shelves, and I quote .... " IF AND WHEN WE GET ROUND TO IT"

Woolworths were expecting it in thier next shipment from warehouse

W H Smiths had no plans to stock it

HMV did have a few copies, but it was ridiculously priced at £19.97 !!! I am in no way a penny pincher, or tight when it comes to paying for things, but when all other stockists are selling it for £12.97, I felt a little kicked in the bollox that the only place I could buy it from, were charging an extra £7 !!!
After just now checking HMV website, I see that they are offering it for £8.99 with free delivery .... so what gives ???

Needless to say, I dont have a copy yet, and to be honest, im trawling torrnets sites to get hold of a copy, which I know is wrong of me, but I along with many others have waited a long ass time for this day to come, why should I miss out on hearing on its first day of release, and why should I have to pay an extra £7 to the thieving bast*rds HMV ???

[/end rant]

The re-sellers let you down so you'll steal from the record company/artists who put the CD together? That's fair.

This is what happens when people don't support proper record shops and buy music from supermarkets cus it's a £1 cheaper, You get shit service. These places don't care about music and they don't care about there customers £££££$$$$$.

Just order it from the web and wait a day or two, who cares if you don't hear it on day of release FFS.

Agreed. An extra few days wait I'm sure is not too much to ask or is it in this day and age? No wonder most people do not seem to have time to savour life anymore.

I'd gladly support my local record/music store, but like I said Im currently not in my local area.
As for the stealing from label and artist, like I originally said, I know its wrong, but just because I get the *******, doesnt mean I arnt gonna get the original, I got 1-16 all original and paid for, so I arnt gonna put a fraudulent copy of 17 into my collection !
Yes I want to hear it today, and yes in the past I have pre-ordered copies and been left waiting over a week from when everyone else gets to hear it !

Who cares if I dont hear it on the day of the release ??? ....... ME, I care !
