I like Darren Styles & think he is a legend but i don't agree with him winning it either or Raverbaby for the best label. I absolutely hate that bloody Save Me choon released by Styles.

cant say some of the results would have been my number one choices.
sadly awards like this can be nothing more than a popularity contest than anything else. sadly many great lesser known talents never get the respect they are due at awards like this.
is it down to the ignorance of the masses? some people i know who like hardcore i could list 20 djs or producers to them and they wouldnt have a clue
if the voting was down to the more geeky clued up hardcore fan i expect the results would be different ;-)

thats like yesterday an emo/goth/thing came up to me n my mate n askd if we knew who DJ Hixxy was haha and then he said...yea well hes shit! ive downloaded all his songs and there all shit! we cuda slapped the bugger! ive just downloaded his new song and its shit! you probably wouldnt of heard it, its brand new! thats when we left! 
and the a girl cums up you me n says you like dance dont you? i said yes then she said, can you send me all of the darren styles songs you've got! i love him hes so hot!!

not everyone likes a certain DJ, so that's why you could choose. And Darren Styles got a lot of good tracks, but he ain't my number one aswel.

He won best DJ so should have nothing to do with hes tunes :P
I find it strange that "Dougal & Gammer" won best producer. I mean if its Dougal and Gammer, then was it a tie between the 2??? It was best producer, not producers. Another one Sy Unknown and Lou Lou, WTF? I always thought Lou Lou was a singer?
EDIT: Oh yeah and my favourite part was the best record store: SV Online, that is just one big **** you to the artists. It sells what, 7 records that are legal! Why not vote for a p2p program while your at it.

yea we're starting to have djs win categories they don't even really fit into
dougal & gammer released i think 4 vinyls on EP this year, and in my opinion they were all very weak when compared to the stuff gammer does alone
lou lou *is* a singer and sy & unknown being in the top on best producers is absolutely shocking, i used to love sy & unknown but the tunes they put out this year were absolutely horrid
SV online winning is really, really stupid.
i wont even talk about the mc category
record label winners are laughable... where's FD, and for ****s sake, warped science?
squad-e as breakthrough dj? he was ferried through by raverbaby, no breaking being done there... and why the hell is k-complex on there? he's not even close to being new on the scene
and i'm going to just stop there before i have a stroke, the whole thing's just downright stupid

It is entirely fixed. No doubt about it. I reckon a bunch of people sit around a table and talk for hours on who would most annoy the ravers for winning an award.
I never understood what the point of this whole thing was anyway. All it does in my oppinion is make some real big producers and DJ's look like geniuses for doing *** in the scene while those who actually try and produce good music continue to struggle. It's the same people every year who wins.
