This has probably been posted hundreds of times but I'm just curious as I have never been to an actual rave before. Is it true that so many ravers use drugs to dance all night or is it just a myth? They way I see it is that every raver is on drugs. Are there many that don't use drugs? I'm 100% clean so I'm just thinking it would be hard to get drug free friends.

a LOT of people take drugs at raves, but a LOT of people also dont take drugs n stick to alcohol, but i think most people are on pills n phet

In general yes-most people at raves are on uppers. I know a lot of people that do it straight though-they just buzz off the atmosphere so don't need any. I wouldn't worry about getting drug free friends though. People are sound in a rave-whether they are on drugs or not they are all there to have a good time

I'd say at least 80% of people at raves do drugs!
Like Tabz said though, it shouldn't effect you making any freinds lol, it really makes no difference!

I don't do drugs or really drink that often and have been raving for going on ten years. I used to do drugs but they aren't for me.

Haha, you could say I'm also naturally high. My friend actually thought I was on speed or ecstacy when we went to the movies last week. And no, I dont have ADD.

Teken pills myself at raves but I enjoyed the arevs more when just on drink! No mean bouncers looking at you trying to search you (I have been searched on pills but they found nothing) you will find a number of people at raves are on drugs but not everyone and there will be a few people just having a few drinks and alot just enjoying it as it is!
I havnt done drugs in a while now and if I would do them I would rather it being a house party than a club and if I next go to a rave I would rather just stick with the drink

When I go to parties, I'm always COMPLETELY clean. That means no drugs, no fags, not even alcohol. I tend to drink more at home to relax, never at a club or party. Also, here in Belgium, it's far easier to obtain alcohol. I'm 13, and I could buy a beer without ID no problem. It's a different culture.

Up here in shetland its in our culture to start drinking at 13 but there isnt many dance events or anything so people tend to take club drugs and sit in a room chilling, listening to music and speaking nonsense haha. im clean though, i have done them a few times but not really my cuppa :)

We don't tend to have any kind of age to start. Once you're past 12, you can drink whenever you like

id tried extacy coz that was "the drug"
then i visited a place called THE COUNTRY CLUB..
evryone there was talking Ketamin?
Yes iv tried it....but i dont need (or wish) to talk about it

^^^^ Have no interest in taking 'K' what so ever but it is another drug that some people wish to take! Some people even take lsd (or shrooms) at raves but what that would be like I dont want to know lol

the only "club friendly" drugs that iv ever experiencend are extasy & speed.
anything else just makes me (you) feel sick
