I'm quite sure that if it's kept indoors away from direct heat it won't warp - even if a very warm house. The room temperature shouldn't be a problem as long as there isn't heat ON the records.
I left a full box of tunes (not the lozenges) in front of a radiator for a whole winter and only the front one warped slightly.
Bassheads - Is there anybody out there. Original white label with the uncleared samples GUTTED!

Vinyl's not icecream, just don't keep it in direct sunlight and you should be okay. Also don't keep your records stacked on an angle.

if this summer will be 40+, will it warp in quite a small room which is closed quite alot of the time?
do you not recommend with keeping them in crates, since they arnt on top of each other?
would stacking them heightwise and keeping maybe a book on them make sure htey are okay?
i have some rare ones i dont wnat to loose, im really paranoid.

They'll be perfectly ok at temps higher than that mate. Keeping them in crates is fine, but as Silver said, they MUST be stored straight so if the crate isn't full put something in to make sure they're stood up properly. If you insist on stacking them flat (i wouldn't personally), you don't need to put anything on top - but make sure they're on a proper flat surface if you do that or you might find you bend the bottom ones by accident!

Don't stack vinyl flat, on top of each other! That'll ruin them.

how exactly should one keep their records?
i'm reading here not to stack them on top of one another, and not to keep them on an angle either. how should i keep them then, because even in a crate they are on an angle most of the time.

they should be stored how you find them in a record store, straight up and down
having a little bit of an angle is ok, you just don't want to put a lot of pressure on the bottom of the stack record as it will warp
