Masif Hardcore 2008 is out today!
This is the biggest local hardcore CD project to date, signing up no less than three of the scene's biggest international legends Scott Brown, Kevin Energy and Sharkey to mix exclusive CD’s alongside Australia's biggest hardcore export Weaver who has appeared on every major league label globally in the genre.
Features 3 DJ/Producers from the UK who mix for the infamous BONKERS brand which sells in excess of 50,000 units per volume worldwide!
Scott Brown is one of the most prolific producers in the Hardcore genre. Massive in the UK, he regularly tours Australia headlining parties nationally. His last gig in Australia was in Sydney where he played to over 4000 people!
Kevin Energy and Sharkey have been in the hardcore scene for years. Regularly touring the globe and releasing some of the most popular tracks in the genre! Regular visitors to these shores - their reputation and fanbase in the hard scene has grown dramatically over recent years in Australia. They have extended their tour from 2 weeks to one month as promoters bid for their limited number of available shows!
Weaver is Australia's biggest Hardcore export. Having had releases on every major label in the genre around the world, this juggernaut is back to tour the album fresh from touring Europe and America!This is the first mix CD Weaver has mixed in three years.

will this be available in places like woolworths and asda?
These are the only closest places to me, as HMV and Virgin are abit far away from me.

fat chance. hardcore really doesnt havve a big following in australia, and the stores that are ordering it are getting between 1 and 3 copies

good to see hardcore growing in popularity outside the uk, allows the scene to really expand n get more talent into producing :D hope this album fares well down under, bring on jan 08, looks tight :D

Wow, received mine today, two days after order, nice!
Just listened to CD1, good stuff!
I guess delivery was so quick because it was sent from NSW and I'm also NSW :P

Yo!
Glad everyone is excited about the release! For everyone in Sydney or Australia wide you can get them at all good record stores as mentioned above along with online as well, best place to get it would be www.masif.org as they are on the ball with orders, wont take long for you to get it from there and they will deliver world wide for such a great price!
For all those people in the UK there should be a national release hopefully early next year as soon as distribution is sorted out! Will let you know!
