Can anyone give me any information on that cd? I just bought it off AmazonMp3, and its a nice cd, but there is no information on it. Windows says its from 1996, but Discogs says 2004.

That is unusual, i haven't seen this one.
I have the happy hardcore 5 2XCD which has them characters on cover but whole different artwork style
The original Happy hardcore 5 was released in 1996 as you stated.
The one you have is that 2004 one :)

Ya, you have the Dutch version (Happy Rave 4 is the German copy). Hmm, then what is my copy, and where are volumes 1-4?

it's one of those weak 5th gear rip-off releases.
those guys always tried to copy series of stuff that was selling well, putting a few good tracks on it and filling up the rest with absolute shite.
the original happy hardcore / happy rave series are class stuff but this series here isn't worth the disk it was burned on.

I have the same release as djbrownieboy aswell. Haven't heard of the copy you just got.

Well, some of the tracks are ok, like "Happy Summer" and "Get To France", but some are just...terrible. There is a remake of ATC's "Around The World (la la la)" and a remake of Brisk & Trixxy's "Euro Love", that starts out good, then has a horrible rap segment over it! It all sounds pretty much dutch-style. So, are any of the tracks actual tracks? Or just produced for that cd. I thought I was getting something rare. Is it actual Happycore?
