When i went to my first rave I had no expectations, no idea of what i was going to experience, no idea of sounds. The only techno i listen to was commercial dance. I went and was amazed. Pee Wee was playing in the main room and he was playing happy. I immediately fell in love with the sound and then i heard a remix of popular song, What's Going On? and that was it. The second rave i went to utrasonic played, when they played live. This hust reinforced my craving for happy. I really didn't know any of the tracks until i started to buy them, which wasn't too much later. I should add this was in 94 and being on line was not a high priority. So for me it was the sound that got me into happyhardcore, but, what keeps me in it are the tracks.
