Can produce a sound similar to that in Interstate - Lost Generation, Sub Ace & Aura - My dreams, Force & Styles - Gotta Believe?
Any one any idea what I can use? I've tried searching for somthing that can make that sound (Staccato(?)) but to no avail.

It's the Pizzicato sound from the Roland JV1080, i'd be very surprised to hear a VSTi create it without great difficulty. I have some excellent quality samples though if you wish!

Is that what that is? I've been wondering where that most horrendously overused (in trance, anyways) sound came from.

its not pizzcato, pizzacato is when you play the violin strins with a finger, instead the bow.
