Hi ive come to the conclusion i need a usb interface and need some help on which one to purchase ive heard M-audio are good but expensive would it be a good investment or are there cheaper ones out there that do the job just as good ive been looking at Artcessories ones they look pretty good and half the price of M-audio does anybody have one???

This is the one ive been looking at looks pretty neat does anyone agree any help would be great

firewire interfaces are generally MUCH better
lower latency and overall better build in general

yeah thats what ive got and i can swear by it.

the inspire is actually pretty freaking good... especially for the price.

only thing that freaks me out a bit about it, is that while it has balanced input, i dont think it has balanced output, so i dont think its going to sound very good when i hook my monitors up to it.... anyone know if this is true? im looking at you dainja ;)

I dunno, I don't have that card
I was considering upgrading to that in my production PC but if that's the case that's not too appealing

However, the next step up (PreSonus Firebox?) has balanced ins AND outs...and alot of them
