Yes that might be the case but i would still say any wav file will sound better than a record that was pressed in 1996!

Aye, without a doubt.

To those saying vinyl is too heavy... Heh. I'm not exactly strong and I can carry two boxes about no worries. My girlfriend often takes my record boxes for me when I have my hands full with other equipment lol.

yeah, i prefer vinyl, plus ive already got a decent collection of vinyl. im gunna buy some 1210 mk2s, i just wanted maksure i was buying thee right thing. i prefer viinyl, i like being able to touch the music and do what u want to it, rather than pressing a button.

1210 are the second best piece of dj equipment i have ever used, the first well the silver just looks sexier imo

I weigh 72 kg which is about 158 lbs.my box, which holds about 60 records, weighs about 40 pounds full.
a fourth of my weight is heavy enough for me to consider cds,that and not having a car to haul the friggin box around.
and yes, I'd be taking all 60 records to bust out a good improvised set.

My box must be a whole 300 grams or so, as of now it has approx 5000 tracks in it! I carry it to my gigs in my shirt pocket:)
